Gustav R. Hahn was born 1875 in Germany.He never married and died at age 52yr. in 1927, the same year as his mother. He is buried next to his parents in Tacoma Cemetery section 10a lot #257.
Albert Hahn Jr. was born 1881 in Germany.He was a carpenter.He helped build the church on Hwy 16 between Burley and Port Orchard, at one time called Nelson's Corner.It still stands and now belongs to the Episcopalian Church.He never married and died at age 35yr. He is buried at Tacoma Cemetery section 4Q lot #3 under a fir tree.
Theresa Hahn was born in Germany. She married Robert Hall and lived in Tacoma.
Tillie Hahn (Matilda?) was born in Germany.She married Robert Waterworth and lived in Tacoma.She is buried at Tacoma Cemetery.
William A. Hahn was born Jan.1889 in Wisconsin as the family traveled across country to Washington Territory.He married Minnie Janette Lee , daughter of Earl Lee (original Swedish spelling was Leigh, pronounced Lee) and Ida Anderson.He farmed land in Elgin, an area of Port Orchard now known as Glenwood.He died at age 56yr. and is buried at Tacoma Cemetery section9 lot#184.
Arthur Wilhelm Hahn was born July 17,1895 as a first citizen of Washington State.He married Jenny Ella Lee on October 1918, another daughter of Earl Lee and Ida Anderson. He owned a farm in Elgin next to his brother . The original homestead land of Albert and Bertha Hahn was on the back border of William and Arthur's land.The immigrants of the area worked for Rainier Logging Co. and after the land was logged they filed for homestead land parcels and became known as "Stump Farmers" Arthur owned and operated" Hahn and Sons " logging company.He also owned and operated" Hahn's Playland Resort" on Horseshoe Lake.The resort today is owned by a Christian group and called Miracle Ranch, used for a summer camp.He died Feb.19,1947 at age 52yr.old.He is buried at Tacoma Cemetery section 1.
